S.C.O.T.S. Bots takes safety seriously and is a two time recipient of the Industrial Safety Award. Our students teamed up with the Transportation Department and used Buster, the talking robot, to teach school bus safety to school aged children during Rescue Vehicle Day at the Howell Carnegie Library. and meet Buster the talking robot! Buster is a fully animated robot that moves, speaks, listens, and activates his lights, all by remote control. With his stop arm he has all the warning devices of a real bus. He can wink, blink, and move his eyes. And with his smiling mouth he presents a positive and friendly image to young and old alike. Our FRC students use their own voice to teach and communicate with children at eye level. Buster is now an honorary member of the S.C.O.T.S. Bots FRC team.
