The Holidays are coming, and the snow is piling up. That's right everyone, it's that time of year again. While we're all sitting in front of the fireplace drinking hot chocolate, every mentor and student on team 4776 has had kickoff in the back of their mind. With kickoff being less than three weeks away, I'm here to tell those of you who are uninformed of what exactly kickoff is what it will be like. This year, we have invited the Hartland FRC team to join us at the high school, so that we can cooperate on strategy, as well as meet some new people. Students and parents (parents are highly encouraged to attend) will arrive at Howell High School at 9:00 A.M. As people arrive, students and parents of both teams will be treated to breakfast set up by our mentors and our leadership team. We will also use this time to socialize with members of the Hartland team, as well as our own members we may not be all too familiar with. At 10:15 we will have a talk about the ideals of first, and at 10:30 we will tune in to the video in which we finally get to see how this year's game works. We will then break up into groups and discuss possible strategies. After discussing possible strategies with our small groups, team 4776 will meet to discuss what the priorities for our robot will be based on what we saw in the video, and our discussion with our strategy groups. We plan to eat lunch around 12:30. There will be several fun activities including a First Kahoot, and icebreakers at this event. Every member of team 4776 is expected to attend kickoff. To RSVP to this event you will need to go on up to us, and reply with either "I will be there" or "I can't make it." We truly hope you can all make it, as this event is probably the most important day of the year for our team.
