Ashlin Niemiec and I spent the day in Lansing. We attended the Advocacy Conference put on by team 1718, Fighting PI. At the conference we learned how to properly advocate for FIRST robotics and our team. We sat with extraordinary teams such as recent hall of fame team 2834, Bionic Black Hawks and 2018 West Michigan Chairman's Winners, team 4003 TriSonics. After the Conference, we met with our Representative, Dr. Hank Vaupel. We invited him to the FTC competition on November 3rd, FRC Kick off on January 5th, as well as an Livingston Country Robotics Alliance meeting. Vaupel loves the FIRST program and said he would love to come and support our programs.
